He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Wanezek (Sauntry) and Virgil C. Wanezek, Sr.; his parents-in-law, Edwin Voechting and Melvina Voechting; and his brothers-in-law, Jerry Battaglia and Jerry Voechting.
He is survived by: his wife Jane Wanezek (Voechting); his son Jesse; his daughter-in-law Kristine Wanezek (Zastrow) of Germantown; his daughter Becky (Wanezek); his son-in-law Todd Reineking of Sussex; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Jack Wanezek and Maezy Reineking; and his siblings, Jeannine Battaglia of Sheboygan, Philip Wanezek (Doris) of Brookfield, Cecile Engel (Dennis) of Mequon, Colleen Koepsell (Dave) of Sheboygan, Mark Wanezek (Mary) of Greendale, Warren Wanezek (Judy) of Green Bay, Matt Wanezek and Lori Heinrich (Bill) of Green Bay. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in Virgil's name.
