He was predeceased by: his brother John Becker; his uncle Joe Forward; and his cousin Dale Forward. He is survived by: his mother Pamela Pion Becker; his wife May Muszynski; his father Frederick "Fritz" Becker; his brothers, Allen and Bobby Peterson; and his aunt Louise Forward. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in his name.
