It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Kay Krentz of Hertel, Wisconsin, born in Grantsburg, Wisconsin, who passed away on April 17, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Hobart O'Donnell and Esther O'Donnell; her husband Jack Krentz; her daughter Lisa Unertl; and her siblings, Marian Brinken, Nancy Anderson, Dean O'Donnell and Neil O'Donnell.

She is survived by : her children, Susan Ackerman (Lowell) and Joel Krentz; her son-in-law John Unertl III; and her grandson John Unertl IV. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lakeview Methodist Church (23980 Co Rd X, Shell Lake, WI 54871). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at the Hertel Lakeview Cemetery.
