It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph G. Butler of Sherwood, Wisconsin, who passed away on July 27, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry Butler and Patricia Butler (Cafferty); his sister Mary; his aunt Mary Cafferty; and his parents-in-law, David and JoAnn Schiefelbein.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Schiefelbein; his children, Jennifer, Sarah, Megan and Colin (Jamie); his grandchildren, Shane, Kaitlynn, Anthony, Elias, Issac, Madalynn and Addyson; his great grandchildren, Harrison, Ali and Andi; and his in-laws, John Butler (Marty), Anne Butler, Scott Schiefelbein (Joyce), Chris Schiefelbein (Sandy), Wendy Morris (Bill), Craig Schiefelbein (Mary) and Ryan Schiefelbein (Kim). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church (120 Nashotah Rd, Nashotah, WI 53058). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
