He was predeceased by : his parents, Donald Immel Sr. and Helen Jean Thompson; his stepfather Neale Payton; his uncle Wayne Theede; and his siblings, Larry Immel, Colleen Kobs and Tina Slempkes.

He is survived by : his children, Katherine and Roy Immel (Melissa) of Sherwood; his grandchildren, Teydon and Claire; his son-in-law Isaiah Wells of Appleton; his grandchildren, Hugo, Theadora and Ellison; his siblings, Richard Immel (Nancy), Steve Immel, Shirley Popp (Greg) and Charlotte Williams (Lorne); his brother-in-law Robert Kobs; and his aunt Dorothy. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, good friends.
