With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elaine Janice Peterson (Sister Bay, Wisconsin), born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, who passed away on February 23, 2022 at the age of 84. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Elaine Janice Peterson to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her former life partner Robert Peterson; her daughter Mary Tsolak; her brother Jeffrey Boeck; and her parents, May Boeck and Alvin Boeck.

She is survived by : her husband William Nowitzke; her daughters, Jeanne Godfrey (Chad) and Susan Ewbank (Mark); her stepchildren, Sandi Wanzer (Brian), Mary Kay Peterson (Phil) and Robert Peterson (Brynne); and her siblings, Jim Boeck (Linda), Rosie Kenkel, Nita Michalski (Bill) and Mickey Boeck (Sheila). She is also survived by grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and many beloved cousins, nieces, nephews, grandnephews, grandnieces, and extended family.

Memorials may be given in her name to the Wisconsin Humane Society.
