It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James S. Tessmer (South Milwaukee, Wisconsin), who passed away on April 17, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Henry and Charlotte; and his in-laws, John and Mae. He is survived by : his wife Elaine; his children, David Tessmer (Diane), MaryBeth Yelanjian (Michael), Stephen Tessmer and Michelle Ladwig (Edward); his grandchildren, Gabriel (Abby), Hannah, Emily, Anna and Jackson; his brother Henry Tessmer (Terry); and his siblings-in-law, Carol Zaworski and Randy Schultz (Sandy). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the Divine Mercy Church (800 Marquette Ave, South Milwaukee, WI 53172). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to Aurora Zilber Family Hospice or the Leukemia Society.
