We bid farewell to Jim Porfiris of South Milwaukee, Wisconsin, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 12, 2025 at the age of 73. Jim touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. In the vast expanse of eternity, Jim shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Jim farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He is survived by: his wife Georgia; his children, Lela Vassos (Bill), Vasilki Porfiris and Xristoforos Porfiris; and his granddaughter Aphrodite. He is also survived by his two brothers, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church (2160 N Wauwatosa Ave, Wauwatosa, WI 53213). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Pinelawn Memorial Park (10700 W Capitol Dr, Milwaukee, WI 53222).
