He was predeceased by : his parents, John and Clara; and his brothers, Norman, Leonard and Hank.

He is survived by : his former life partner Carolyn Herrick; his brother Ronald; and his nieces and nephews, Robert, Ronald Jr., Sandi Hammel, Kristine Merkley, Kathy Buchholz and Sharyl Brzozowski.

Kathy and Karen would also like to thank their many friends who supported them from the beginning of their dad's Alzheimer's journey eight years ago.
