It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Russell George Shomperlen (South Milwaukee, Wisconsin), who passed away on September 1, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, George Shomperlen and Mollie Shomperlen; his son Jon Russell Shomperlen; his sisters, Sue Leather and Mary Lynn Geniusz (Robert); and his sister-in-law Janice Bell (Raymond).
He is survived by : his wife Kay (Kathryn Eichman); his children, Jill Matel (Dan Osborn) and Josef Shomperlen (Jamie); his granddaughters, Della and Matilda Shomperlen; his sisters, Laura Mabel (James) and Nancy Boyes; and his sister-in-law Marian Smith (Robert). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks you to consider making a donation in Russ' honor to the Angel Fund at St John the Evangelist Parish in Greenfield.
