She was predeceased by : her parents, William Kumba and Susan Kumba (Rauch); her husband Joseph Slaske; and her siblings, Evelyn Kumba, Eleanor Mersch, Alfred Kumba, Herbert Kumba, Margaret Kumba, Lucille Schmidt-Scheel, Dorothy Foster, William Kumba Jr. and Lorraine Billingslea.

She is survived by : her daughters, Geralynn 'Lynn' Rasmussen (Walt), Donna Lien (Carl), Pamela Brantner (Rob) and Tina Beck-Dalgetty (Mike Dalgetty) of Great Mills, MD.; her grandchildren, Steven Beck, Kristen DeMauro (Jonathan), John Beck (Aryka), Gregory Beck and Angelo Brantner; and her great grandchild Faustina DeMauro.
