With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Daniel E Polum (Stevens Point, Wisconsin), born in Wausau, Wisconsin, who passed away on April 22, 2020 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Polum and Eva Polum (Lubinski); his sister Joan Gagas; his brother-in-law Ronald Gagas; his brother Leonard Polum; his sister-in-law Vera Polum; his brother Gary Polum; and his nephew John Golla.
He is survived by: his wife Marchita Golla; his brother Eugene Polum; his sisters-in-law, Evelyn Polum, Rachel Torpy, Dorothy Semple and Maryellen Bemowski (Hank); and his children, Michele White (James), Matthew Golla (Kathy), Mark Golla, Monica Thome (Peter), Tim Golla, Stephanie Haka (John), Ann Raflik (Ken) and Rose Dickinson (Bill). He is also survived by 28 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Due to health concerns associated with the Covid-19 pandemic a private Mass of Christian Burial was held Friday, April 24, 2020 at St. Peter Catholic Church.
In Lieu of flowers, a memorial in Dan's name will be established at a later date.
