He was predeceased by: his parents, Ignatius "Nick" and Evelyn Zywicki (Laska); his stepfather Chester Zywicke; and his parents-in-law, Alice Gburek, Max Gburek Jr., Sue Zywicki and Ernest Glodowski.
He is survived by: his wife Catherine Gburek; his grandson Eagle Scouts; his children, Cindy Peters (Jim), Gerard, Carl, Kristi Vuorinen (Scott) and Craig (Stephanie); his grandchildren, Matt Peters, Cole Peters (Jordan Whelihan), Sierra Vuorinen (Sam Hess), Alice, Lukas Vuorinen and Liliana Zywicki; his siblings, Larry Zywicki (Nancy) and Annette Glodowski; and his parents-in-law, Agnes Cisewski (Kenneth), Dominic Gburek and Wally Gburek.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Ernest may be made to St. Mary's-Torun Building Fund.
