It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Esther Cherek (Stevens Point, Wisconsin), who passed away on February 20, 2018, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Bronk and Wanda Bronk (Nigbur); her husband John; her children, Susan Cherek and Robert Cherek; her daughter-in-law Rose Cherek; her stepmother Anna Bronk; and her siblings, Leonard, Robert, Hubert, Margaret Sorensen and Louise DeKeyser.
She is survived by: her children, Tony Cherek (Jan) of Weston, Joan Kiewit (Ray) of Cornucopia, Vicki Peterson (Steve) of Eland, Dorothy Snyder (Marty) of Stevens Point, Mary Jo Oliver of Stevens Point and Jacob Cherek (Sandra) of Spencer; her sister Millie Wanserski of Plover; her stepsister Lorraine Janick of Plover; and her sister-in-law Cecelia Bronk of Sussex. She is also survived by 16 Grandchildren; 22 Great-Grandchildren.
