She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Georg Diringer and Anna Diringer; her husband Elbert; her daughter Helen C. Johannes (Richard); her grandchildren, Paul Johannes (Marie) and Andrea Johannes (Vincent); and her great grandchildren, Job and Judah Johannes. She was also cherished by three nieces.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Stevens Point Area Retired Teachers' Association.
