She was predeceased by: her parents, William Haas and Rose Haas; her husband Clifford Leo; her sister Mildred Ruth Martin; her brothers-in-law, Warren Callows and Frank Martin; and her son-in-law Joseph T. Szyper.
She is survived by: her daughter Barbara Szyper of Norfolk, VA; her grandchildren, Rex Szyper (Caryn) and Shantelle Rose Robbel (Nathan); and her great grandchild Quinn Margaret Szyper.
While raising their daughter, she enjoyed volunteering at St Stephens Elementary School, singing in the church choir, gathering.
donations for the American Cancer Society and leading the local Girl Scout troops.
