She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Wanta and Pauline Wanta; her husband Gregory Shafranski; her brothers, Hubert Wanta and Max Wanta; and her godsons, Douglas Firkus and Patrick Martin.
She is survived by: her children, Nancy Shafranski, Richard Shafranski (Louise) and Ellen Rice (Michael); her grandchildren, Christen Gentile (Paul) and Timothy Rice; her great grandchildren, Camille, Gregory and Joseph; and her siblings, Bernadette Firkus, Theresa Nolan, Rita Leary (Cliff) and Robert Wanta (Betty). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and friends.
