He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Linaberry and Mary Jane Linaberry (Schmidt); and his former wife Sandy Jensen. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Taylor; his son Scott Linaberry (Missy); his grandchildren, Sagan and Toryn; his son Brian Linaberry (Tammy); his grandchildren, Max and Emma; his son Tom Runyon (Sarah); his grandchildren, Kirsten and Austin; and his sister Cindy Giese.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the United Methodist Committee on Relief.
