He was predeceased by: his father Ervin Bahrke; his stepfather Charlie Pearsall; his brothers-in-law, Ken Keman and Tom Struzynski; and his nephews, Michael Struzynski and Kevin Keman.
He is survived by: his wife Deb Hopp Bahrke; his mother Dorothy Bahrke Pearsall (Roeske) of Wautoma, WI; his children, Erin Updike (Jeremy) of Northfield, MN, Scott Bahrke of Stevens Point and Michael Bahrke of Stevens Point; his stepchildren, Eric Hopp (Amy) of Plover and Ashley Kubowski (Jasen) of Stevens Point; his grandchildren, Ryland, Ashlynn and Tenley Updike; his stepgrandchildren, Aalia, Eliana Hopp, Hallie and Nolan Kubowski; his siblings, Barb Struzynski of Wautoma, WI, Ann Kemen of Dubuque, IA and James Bahrke of Suamico, WI; his parents-in-law, Valerian and Delores Glodowski of Stevens Point; and his siblings-in-law, Paul Glodowski (Sue) of Stevens Point, Joe Glodowski of Stevens Point and Gail Mertely (Mark) of Stevens Point. He is also survived by 13 nieces & nephews, 10 great nieces & nephews, and 5 great great nieces & nephews.
With the current state of the world around COVID-19, a private family service has been held.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established in Steve's name at a later date.
