He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Strasser and Regina Strasser (Strike); his siblings, Richard "Duke" Strasser and Susan Newby; and his sister-in-law Nancy Fierek.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his children, Mark Strasser (Judith) of Plover, Deborah Henderson (Don) of Traverse City, MI, Kathleen Kluck (Mark) of Stevens Point, Amy Sackmann (Ken) of Hortonville, WI and Lisa Kluck (Tim) of Plover; his grandchildren, Matt Henderson, Leslie Stoning, Laura Strasser, Erin Crabill, Kelly Kluck, Mandy Isaacson, Andy Kluck and Erikka Sackmann; his great grandchildren, Landon and Leeah; and his siblings-in-law, Ronald Newby of Plover, Mike Diestler of Green Bay, Arden Fierek of Elderon, Jim Kocher of Hazlehurst, Alice Strasser of Wausau and Mary Kocher of Hazlehurst.
He was quite the artist, especially water color painting and his talent of making furniture was shared with his family as he provided them with his homemade tables and lamps In lieu of flowers, a memorial in William's name will be established at a later date.
