He is survived by: his parent Marion Walters (Brissee); his wife Gretchen; his children, Rebecca Montague (Dean) of Washington State, Amy Baumann (James) of Kentucky and Michael Walters of Stoughton; his grandchildren, Ryan Montague, Hilton Baumann, Hailey Baumann and Alexandria Walters; and his sister Susan Ossmann.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Glaciers Edge Council BSA, VFW Mother Post 328, American Legion Post 59, or Good Shepherd by the Lake Lutheran Church.
