He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Sr. Starostovic and Ester Ruth Starostovic (Guinee); his daughter Karen Patchak; and his son-in-law Chris Hull. He is survived by: his daughter Ann; his wife Marilyn; his daughters, Lynn Hull, Anne Anderson and Susie Waldner (Jim); and his grandchildren, Justin Janisch (Mariah), Ryan Maerz (Ray), Jami Anderson-Howard (Corey), Kelly Anderson (Nick), Carla Borchart (Bill), Chris Patchak, Connie Foress (Dan), Chadd Patchak (Sarah), Samantha Amador, Taneesha Juras (Michael), Tyson Waldner and Treyton Waldner. He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren.

Due to COVID-19 mass gathering restrictions, a private burial will be held at Lutheran South Cemetery.
