She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Broughton and Elsie Broughton (Reasa); her husband Ronald; and her siblings, Fay Broughton (Joan) and Alice Lovett.

She is survived by: her son David Nelson; her granddaughters, Jordan and Ashley Nelson; her brother Duane "Bud" Broughton (Joanne); and her brother-in-law David Lovett (Teri).

Memorials may be made to the Stoughton Hospital Cardiac Rehab.
