He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Berg and Mary Berg (Rockney); his siblings, Thressa Burthe (Stanley), Alverta Olson (Giles), Merle Berg (Lola) and Robert "Bobby" Berg; and his siblings-in-law, Gordy Shaw, Duane Nieses and Ardell Nieses.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Berg; his pet Penelope "Penny" Berg; his son Delanie Berg; his stepdaughter Kathy Mauldin (Bill); his grandchildren, Amanda Barton and Jason Barton (Ali); his great grandchildren, Matthew, Samantha and Thomas Barton; and his sister-in-law Linda Shaw. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Due to the pandemic, a private service for family and close friends will be held at West Koshkonong Lutheran Church.
