He was predeceased by: his parents, Rogelio Cruz and Carmen Cruz; his siblings, Miguel Martinez and Juanita Martinez; and his daughter Marisa Cruz.
He is survived by: his daughters, Tanya Cruz Genung (Travis) and Tessa Cruz (Inyang); and his siblings, Marita Rincón, Aureleo Cruz (Nilsa), Noemi Sordo and Benjamin Cruz. He is also survived by children as well as nieces, nephews and many cousins.
