She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernie Olson and Hazel Olson; her husband James Prough; her son Curt Prough; and her brothers, Lowell, Merlin and Bob.

She is survived by: her children, Joni Prough, Judy Eggen (Dale) and Chris Prough of Stoughton; her grandchildren, Lindsay, Kelly, Matthew and Collin; her great grandchildren, Nora, Lily and Jason; and her friend Barb Veum.
