She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Lyons and Genevieve Lyons (Walterscheit); her husband Stanley Thompson; her daughter Kristi; and her brother James Lyons.
She is survived by: her children, Joe (Cindy), John Thompson (Wendy), Lauri Kersten (Richard) and Lindi Thompson. She is also survived by three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
