He was predeceased by: his daughters, Susan Hanson and Kristi Hanson. He is survived by: his wife Arlene Hanson (Ledenbach); his son Peter Hanson (Kim); his sons-in-law, John Palumbo and Mark Donham; his grandchildren, Christoffer Palumbo (Sheila), Alex Palumbo (Toni), Erik Palumbo and Katie Hanson; and his great grandchildren, Nyla Palumbo and Barrett Palumbo.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Heartland Hospice Services, or Stoughton Senior Center.
