He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Marshall Sr. Hanks and Jane Hanks (Anderson); his wife Marilyn (Wermich); his brother Michael; his children, Scott Hanks (Tiffany), Tim Hanks (Tangela), Andy Hanks (Nora) and Heidi Lautenbach (TJ); and his sister Judy Graham (Len). He was also cherished by eight grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
