He was predeceased by: his parents, Durward A. Plutchak and Elva H. Plutchak. He is survived by: his wife Beth; his children, Eric Plutchak (Shannah) and Wendy Kraemer (Nathan); his grandchildren, Spencer, Alex, Carson Plutchak, Callie and Kaitlyn Kraemer; and his brother-in-law J. Whitney Bancroft (Nancy).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in his name to Prince of Peace Lutheran Church.
