Bruce Schwierske Obituary

It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Bruce Schwierske of Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, who passed away at the age of 64, on August 2, 2025. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick H. Schwierske and Beverly Schwierske (Knudson); his uncles, Melbourne and Dennis Knudson; and his grandparents, Melvin, Beulah Knudson (Johnson) of Frederick, J. H. and Ella Schwierske (Kuentz).

He is survived by: his siblings, Becky Betley (Len), Frederick C. Schwierske (Donna) and Chuck Schwierske (Cindy); his uncle Allen Knudson; and his siblings' children, Linda Ducat (Shawn), Jamie Schwierske, Kelly Schwierske, Ella Schwierske (Scott Smith) and Eric Schwierske.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, September 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Kalscheur Park (3734 County Rd P, Cross Plains, WI 53528).

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to any of Bruce's favorite charities, some include: Dane County Humane Society, Iowa County Humane Society, National Wildlife Federation, National Park Foundation, PBS Wisconsin and the Parkinson's Foundation.
