He was predeceased by: his siblings, Marilyn, Merly Lao and Julito Lao. He is survived by: his wife Luz Lao; his children, Dr. Maria Lao of Pella Iowa, Dr. Anna Carley (David) of Las Vegas and Michael Lao of Superior, WI; his grandchildren, Cole Carley, Antony Adolfson, Jade Carley, Nicolas Adolfson and Joshua Adolfson; and his siblings, Mila Gorrez (Weni), Carmen Masci (Sam), Julie Silva (Diosdado), Teresita Bushey (Kevin), Virginia Taylor (Ron), Gina Lao, Edwardo Lao, Delfino Lao, Renato Lao (Annie), Samuel Lao and Hernando Lao (Alma). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cathedral School, 1419 Baxter Ave, Superior Wisconsin, or to the Society of St. Vincent De Paul, 1416 Cumming Ave, Superior WI; in remembrance of Dr. Antonio Lao.
