He was predeceased by: his father Earl P. Carlson. He is survived by: his mother Jean Carlson (Johnson); his wife Karen; his sons, David Carlson (Paula) of Hayward, Joel Carlson (Jenny) of Hayward and Jon Carlson of Hayward; his grandchildren, Aurora, Julia and Kaleb; and his sister Cheryl Balcer (Dick). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and close friends.
A visitation will be held at the Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N. 19th Street, Superior, following the Wisconsin governor's COVID-19 mandate.
