She was predeceased by: her parents, Signe Nelson (Wickstrom) and James K. Nelson; her former husband Francis Johnson; her daughter-in-law Kathleen Johnson; her brothers, George Nelson and Ted VanBuskirk; her siblings-in-law, Dale Grothe and Barbara VanBuskirk; and her close friend Warner Wellman.
She is survived by: her cousins, Marta Greta and Thord Trosell; her brother Clyde; her grandchildren, Courtney Clark (Trevor), Julianne Delmissier, Sam Paulus (Miranda Keuntjes), Stefanie Mohr (Jake), Tiffany Jensen (Jimmy), Lindsey Karvonen, Kathryn Landrum (Travis), Karen Larson (Nathan), Dana Glonek (Josh), Ashley Amundson (Jerry Paine), Ben Robbins (Gloria), Phillip Sorensen (Morgan Johnson), Alex Slind (Britney), Audrey McCann (Adam), Brian Sorensen (Katie), Ben Johnson, Carly Botten (Ty), Karinna Duffey (John), Brecken Kenner, Taylor Edwards (Paul) and Ruth Johnson; her great grandchildren, Gloria, Jacqueline, Faye Glonek, Lola, Tripp Delmissier, Sawyer, Nora Slind, Will, Elle, Julia Clark, Canyon, Maddie, Kate, Gunner Mohr, Rowan Sorensen, Jence, Annabelle, Henrik Sorensen, Claire Duffey, Rorie, Sophie Woodfill, Evan, Kinsley Larson, Lucy, Bo Landrum, Kaitlin Paulus, Devyn, Whitley Botten, Levi and Violet Jensen; her sisters, Karin King (William) and Cynthia Grothe; and her caregivers, Tammy, Mike and Peggy. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
