He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Higgins and Marylin Higgins (Prigge). He is survived by: his sibling Ports; his wife Janie; his siblings, Joan Godfrey, Jean Higgins, Jaclyn Higgins (Dennis), Jennifer Sloan (Dan) and Edward Higgins, Jr.; his parents-in-law, Anna and Bill Guldner; his brother-in-law Carl Guldner (Leah); his stepchildren, Amy Thomas, Michael and Matt Kauther; his friend Tim Hanson; Janie Higgins. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
