She was predeceased by: her parents, John Melin and Flora Melin (Willoughby); her husband John 'Jack Sweeney; her grandsons, Sean and Brady Moder; her great grandchild Andrew Potter; and her siblings, Johnny, Bud Melin, Elsie Sandahl and Ruth Scharte.
She is survived by: her children, Kathleen Moder (Timothy) of Superior, Brian Sweeney (Sandy) of Superior, Valerie Sweeney of Superior, John Sweeney (Julie) of Foxboro, Claudia Dresel (Tom) of Superior and Kyle Sweeney (Val) of Superior; and her friend Geri Johnson. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 45 great grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
