She was predeceased by: her parents, John Shykes and Teresa Shykes (Schuster); her husband Roy Ellis; and her brothers, John, James and Matthew Shykes.
She is survived by: her sons, Timothy Ellis (Becky) of Minneapolis, MN, Daniel Ellis (Diane) of Minneapolis, MN and David Ellis (Jane) of Minneapolis, MN; her grandchildren, Adam, Robyn, Jason, Jonathan, Andrew, Thomas and Sarah; her great grandchildren, Tyrece, Jada, Lydia, Nolan, Parker, Everett and Rilynn; and her sisters-in-law, Beth Shykes (John) of Superior, WI, Dolores Shykes (James) of Superior, WI and Astrid Shykes (Matthew). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
