She was predeceased by: her parents, Caesar Damme and Margaret 'Muggs' Van Damme (Haeck); her husband Robert La Joie; and her siblings, Robert, William Van Damme and Virginia 'Sis Moore.
She is survived by: her sons, Steven of Superior and David La Joie of Superior; and her stepsiblings, George and Mary.
