She was predeceased by: her parents, John Stefanko and Rose Stefanko; her husband Henry 'Bill' Smith; her daughter Julie Ann Marincel; her son-in-law Ron Fanetti; her siblings, Mary Stefanko, Pauline Tyson and James Stefanko; her siblings-in-law, Eleanor Stefanko, Lois Smith, Leo Timmerman, Francis Smith and Leo Weisbaum; and her nephew James Timmerman.

She is survived by: her children, Dennis Smith (Wendy Ness) of Superior and Mary Kay Fanetti of Eau Claire, WI; her son-in-law Thomas Marincel of Ashland, WI; her grandchildren, Beth McGee (Shawn), Jon Fanetti, Cody Marincel, Colin Marincel, Andrew Smith, Jordan Smith and Devin Smith; her siblings, Joseph Stefanko, Angeline Timmerman and Dorothy Heytens (Russell); her sister-in-law Georgiann Stefanko; and her close friend Kim Yeager.
