She was predeceased by: her brother Larry Joshua Knutson; and her grandparents, Jay Geary and Dorothy McGowan. She is survived by: her husband Justin Miner; her children, Emaleigh McGowan, Abigail Bourque, Adam Smith and Michael Miner; her parents, Kelly Burger and Jim Burger; her brothers, Frank McGowan II, Justin Knutson and Zachary Burger; her parents-in-law, Sherry and John Pallas; her sisters-in-law, Jackie Miner and Jessica Stewart; and her pets, Lenny, Odin and Chaos.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Melinda's family.
