Mattson of Superior, Wisconsin, born in Maple, Wisconsin, who passed away on September 16, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Mattson and Ida Mattson (Wanhala); his daughter Susan Lynn; and his brothers, Alfred and Charles.
He is survived by: his wife Alice Luoma; his sons, Melvin M. Mattson (JoAnn) of Superior, WI and Todd Mattson (Allyson) of Coon Rapids, MN; his grandchildren, Bryan (Kristina), Ian (Kaylyn), Andrew (Elyse), Alyssa Schwan (Casey), Ashley Reinke (Karl), Alex Spehar (Johanna), David and Michelle; and his great grandchildren, Ella, Mila, Kyla, Parker, Susan, Adelyn and Alexandra.
