She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Ellias and Anna Ellias (Mesko); and her husband Robert C. Hanson. She is survived by: her daughter Marsha Bergren (Mark); her sister Rose Brown; her sisters-in-law, Peggy Ellias and Nancy Ellias; and her children, Adam, Alex, Austin and Aiden. She is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
During the pandemic when personal visiting was canceled, she came each day with a letter the was given to a caregiver to read to Pauline while they looked through the window at each other.
