He was predeceased by: his parents, John Moran and Gladys Moran (Kligora); his sister Patricia; his stepfather Joseph Moran; and his stepbrothers, Byron, Michael and Eugene Moran.
He is survived by: his wife Mavis; his children, John Moran of Madison, WI and Amanda Moran of Tulsa, OK; his grandson Jude Craig of Tulsa, OK; his brother Michael (Anna) of Indianapolis, IN; his nieces, Marianna Gerritzen (Daniel) of Indianapolis, IN, Sarah Fineberg (Jordan) of Minneapolis, MN and Laura Moran (Elizabeth) of Los Angeles, CA; his great-niece Grace Gerritzen; his great-nephews, Michael, Jack Gerritzen, Alexander, Erik and Theo Fineberg; his stepsiblings, Martin Moran, Jo Anne Moran and Rosemary Koerber; and his friend Orrin Carr (Linda).
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a funeral service will be held at a later date with date and location to be published.
Should friends desire, memorials may be made in Pete's name to Cathedral School, Superior, WI, the Superior-Douglas County Family YMCA Foundation, the Voyageurs Area Boy Scout Council Foundation, or the Solvay Hospice House.
