He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Budzak and Mary Budzak; his siblings, Joseph Budzak and Pearl Notenberg; and his nephew Steven Kling.

He is survived by: his sisters, Mary Ann Lucas Houx and Frances Kling; and his siblings' children, Michael Lucas (Robin), Kenneth Lucas (Barb), Sandra Kling, Anndrea Valerga, Mathew Budzak, Scott Notenberg (Jeannine) and Brad Notenberg.
