He was predeceased by: his parents, Vila Hurin (Beetcher) and Frank Hurin. He is survived by: his former wife Sandra Pond (Gilbertson); his wife Sandy; his children, Rick Hurin (Amanda) of Superior, Sharrilyn Helgertz (Jonas) of St. Paul and Robert Hurin (Courtney) of Minneapolis; his grandchildren, Jameson, Lydia and Willa; his stepchildren, Stephanie McKnight (Brian) of Idaho and James Pond of Dallas; his stepgrandchildren, Emma, Charlie and Joe; his siblings, Gary Hurin (Judy) of Wascott and Patricia 'Patty Little of Solon Springs; and the mother of his children Sharon Johnson.
Due to COVID-19 and the Governor's mandate no public funeral services will be held at this time.
