He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfred Heytens and Edna Heytens (Lozon); and his brothers, Robert, Charlie, Richard and Roger Heytens.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Heytens of Superior, WI; his children, Geri Behrendt (Gary) of South Range, WI and Ron Heytens (Annette Ojala) of Superior, WI; his grandsons, Zachary and Dominick; his great grandchild Lillian Belle; and his siblings, Eileen Flyen, Arla Conner, Janet Haack (Gary) and Paul Heytens (Gloria). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions on group gatherings, services for Russell will be held at a later date.
