He is survived by: his wife Shirley Sohlstrom of Superior; his children, Brenda Winkelaar (Karel) of Tower, MN, Linda DiCasmirro (Robert) of Soudan, MN and Tim Ellison of Chisolm, MN; his grandchildren, Jesse Gornick, Cade Gornick (Andrea), Nathan DiCasmirro (Sabrina), Nicole Carlson (Josh), Erin Miller, Brandie Ellison and Deanna Ellison; and his great grandchildren, Otto, Charlize, Cazimiro, Gianna, Avianna, Jesslyn, Nevea and Damien.
