Ronald J. Katz Obituary

Ronald J. Katz passed away peacefully on Saturday December 6th, 2025, at the age of eighty-four. Beloved husband of the late Barbara, Dear father of Jeffrey (Julie) Katz. Loving grandfather of Aaron (Kess) Katz, Alex (fiancée Jenna), and proud great grandfather of Kinslee. Further survived by other relatives and friends.

Ron was the proud owner of Wisconsin Union Labor Insurance Agency. When Ron was at home, he loved spending time outside working in the yard, tending to his flowers and trees, and taking meticulous care of the lawn. He was an avid golfer and a true sports fan. He was also known to play a few songs on his beloved Kazoo. Most of all he loved spending time with his family and seeing his cherished grandchildren and great grandchild.

Funeral services for Ron will be held Saturday December 13th, 2025, at the Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home in Sussex, W250 N6505 Hwy. 164 Sussex WI. 53089. The visitation will begin at 10:00 am and continue until 11:15. The funeral service will begin at 11:30. Entombment will take place at Wisconsin Memorial Park on Monday.
