He was predeceased by: his brother-in-law John North; and his parents-in-law, Paavo Uitto and Aini Uitto. He is survived by: his spouse Finland; his child Erina Hammond; his sister Frances North of Lakewood, WA; and his siblings-in-law, Hannu Uitto and Raili Suominen.
