She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Shores and Frances Shores (Nibler); her husband Arthur Wakkinen; her son Russell; her siblings, Ruth, Rubie, Jo and Roy; and her nephew Ray Paulson.
She is survived by: her children, Gerald "Jerry" Wakkinen (Antoinette), Janie Plachetka (Wayne) and Robin Wakkinen; her grandchildren, Aaron (Heather), Jason (Andie), Ryan (Terese) and Rachel (Ryan); and her great grandchildren, Harleigh, Gunnar, Easton, Tanith, Ty, Micah, Grayson, Luca and Beckett. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
